We’ve started a new curriculum for our Boys Bible Study group based off of a book called, “Life in Christ: A Manual for Disciples”. The first two weeks dealt directly with the topic of sin.

Between the two of them, there are 10 children. Married two years ago, she brought five children into the marriage and he brought the same amount.

Dwayne and I (Caleb) have often walked the streets of Parkesburg to pray. We walk the broken sidewalks, as we pass the broken homes that house broken lives. Down Main Street, to Culvert, up First Avenue, under the railroad overpass, back down Main, up Strasburg to Green and back again to Main Stre

Few people dream for the youth at The Point.
The other day a young man in his early twenties came to The Point looking for food. At first we didn’t recognize him. His hair was disheveled. His clothing and his body were dirty.

The Point has become known as a place of refuge. A place where the broken can find healing. And a place to come when there is no other place to go.
We’ve become more than a youth center. More than a recreation center. We’ve become a place of community outreach.

Through the generous gifts of 15 individuals and businesses, the Parkesburg Point has raised over $700,000 towards the $2.5 million dollar goal for the acquisition and renovation of its permanent facility.
